The Hippie Gold Tribute Band performs a music tribute show dedicated to the decade of music from 1965 to 1975. This group of extraordinarily talented entertainers look and play the part in a showcase performance that will take you on a ride back in time to a place of peace and love.

It’s an event! This is a chance to gather friends, family, and coworkers to dance the night away wearing your favorite hippie clothes and listening to a LIVE BAND recreate this unforgettable soundtrack of our history, paying tribute to an era in a time gone by.

Go back in time to a place with bell bottoms, peace signs, and many happy memories with a “hippie dress-up night”. Recall what it felt like listening to this era of music for the first time. Where you were, how it felt, and what it meant to be free! Dubbed “Hippie Music”, it was the soundtrack of the world. A time NOT to ever be forgotten! Many listened to it growing up, some heard it played by their brothers and sisters, or their parents. It was a time of conflict and politics, but also a time of celebration and liberation. A mindset, a lifestyle.

Some “Tribute Bands” perform the music of one particular band or artist. NOT Hippie Gold...They do it ALL! When was the last time you heard most of the TOP 10 songs from this decade played LIVE by one band? Actual LIVE recreations of songs like “White Rabbit” from Jefferson Airplane, The Shocking Blue’s “Venus”, “Along Comes Mary” from The Association, and gems like The Searchers’ “Love Potion #9” and Lovin’ Spoonful’s “Daydream”. How about the early rock and roll days of The Animals’ “We Gotta Get Outta This Place”, The Byrds’ “Mr. Tambourine Man”, The Turtles’ “Happy Together”, and The Monkees’ “Daydream Believer”? Relive a time of the psychedelic sounds of Strawberry Alarm Clock’s “Incense and Peppermint” and The Zombies’ “Time of the Season”. Don’t forget about breakthrough 70’s songs like “Different Drum” from Linda Ronstadt, Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain”, ELO’s “Evil Woman”, and America’s “Horse with No Name”.

With a performance of over 50 songs, you’ll be taken back to a moment in time or introduced to an influential period in music and world history. These songs are still popular today and people love to hear and dance to them!
